The project will provide a secure, future-proof system for authentication mechanisms, targeting defence and critical infrastructure environments based on a combination of post-quantum cryptography and quantum key distribution, with decentralised identities management via blockchain technologies. In addition, the project will create a comprehensive end-to-end simulator that models quantum satellite to ground station communication to deliver a highly detailed budget for performance estimation.
